More than 45 million people are trapped in slavery right now. God wants our church to help bring hope and freedom. FIND & 31:8 Project will be in the Gathering Place all three services with information, ways to get involved, and selling chain scarves to help in the fight against sex trafficking. Make sure to join them at the noon service for a time of discussion on human trafficking in North Dakota!
On Sunday, September 23rd at 12pm in room 105 we will be having an interest meeting for those who wish to be involved in our Christmas Program! We are looking for singers for our adult and children's choir, children for actors, people to play instruments, and volunteers to help with props, costumes and sound.
One Able Body Conference is here to educate and equip ministry leaders, of all denominations, about disability. Come learn from Ellen Stumbo, of Disability Matters, and a contributor of The Mighty. She will teach about the 5 stages of disability attitudes, (ignorance, pity, caring, friendship, and co-laborers) and the theology of disability. Other topics include peer leadership and special needs adoption. Hear testimony from people with disabilities and learn about existing community resources. Leave with tools to be inclusive and carry out the mission of wholeness in the church!
