The Vision: We are dedicated to working nationally with organizations such as FourSquare Disaster Relief, Red Cross, and Salvation Army during times of disaster providing emotional, physical, and spiritual support. Locally we work to meet the practical needs of the community on a regular basis.
The Mission: We seek to provide a place where all are welcome to share and enjoy a meal together. We endeavor to work with local churches and organizations to serve people of all denominations. In addition to feeding the body, we will connect with others who may not have a church family or a relationship with Jesus. Multiple Christian organizations will be asked to share opportunities for prayer teams and pastoral care where needed. We will also be promoting physical and financial well-being through referral services. To summarize, we will be a ministry that feeds the body, mind, and soul.
The Plan: We are building support for a 7 day a week community meal by sharing the Dream and the Mission with people in our community through local media, businesses, and individuals. To accomplish the Community Meal goal, we are setting up a Community Meal Fund to accept donations.
We continue to serve a Sunday evening meal at United Tribes Technical College between services in the chapel. Meal time is 5:30pm.
Many other opportunities to serve our community are available such as the yearly Trunk or Treat ministry, the quarterly Fix up/Clean up Day, and special Holiday meals.
