Our Beliefs
New Song Church is a Foursquare Church
The Foursquare Church, legally named International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, is a worldwide Christian Pentecostal denomination. Founded in Los Angeles in 1923 by Aimee Semple McPherson, The Foursquare Church now comprises tens of thousands of churches and meeting places, which welcome millions of members in more than 140 countries.
What Does "Foursquare" Mean?
Our name reflects the unchanging ministry of Jesus Christ and our mission to declare it worldwide. The four squares of the Foursquare Denomination logo represent the four scriptural roles of Jesus as Savior, Baptizer With the Holy Spirit, Healer and Soon-Coming King.
